That’s why you need to do your research whether the company provides spare parts for their machines or not. Other than that, it’s important to know the quality, ease of use, and design in judging coffee grinders. Well, let’s get into the reviews.
Starting with OXO BREW, it has a lot of good reviews already written by some of hobbyist or even enthusiasts. OXO BREW is one of the top cold brew coffee makers on the market today and it has recently risen to the top of the ladder and gain immense popularity.

Baratza Encore is a 13.3 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide coffee maker and it’s a compact grinder. The weight on the other hand is on the heavy side. The extra weight complete with a tough plastic chassis, gives the machine great stability.
The transparent hopper is right on top of the grinder. It can feed whole beans into a pair of conical burrs that rotate closely through a small gap between them. These burrs are durable and strong, made from heavy steel and driven by a strong DC motor. Making Baratza Encore very reliable.
As the beans falls between burrs, the mechanism breaks them apart. The output will land within the plastic collection bin. You can adjust the grind size by you move the bean hopper left or right, this causes the gap between burrs to contract or expand.

That’s a big problem for a coffee maker, as the parts inside may break down sooner or later, even on the best machines. Meanwhile, Baratza sells replacement parts for very reasonable price and also has better customer service.
Also, Baratza Encore’s 40 coarseness settings can’t be completely ignored. While it works slower, Baratza Encore is more robust and sophisticated compared to OXO BREW. Even with the $40 price difference here, we have to say that Baratza Encore is the winner of this bout and this coffee maker will definitely serve its purpose for years to come.
